In june 2013 I was commissioned to design and paint murals to liven up the walls of the newly opening River Island store in Liverpool. I designed 4 murals, each around 2m in height and 3m in width.
River Island asked me to come up with designs that represented the idea of the ‘River girl’ in Liverpool. I created tongue in cheek, glamourous characters which reflected the humour of the city, using Liverpool’s iconic buildings as a backdrop to the designs.Read More
In 2008 I was commissioned to create a mural for the kitchen/dining space of the 5* Merebrook House Bed and breakfast, in the Wirral. The design brief was to bring the beautiful rural surroundings of Merebrook, inside the house.
I decided to paint Irises which surround the pond in the gardens and dragonflies which are the used on the Merebook House logo. Using deep purples, lilacs, earthy greens and lemon yellows, the mural took shape.Read More
Harthill Cookery School is owned by Brian Mellor, an award winning Master Chef of Great Britain, former head chef at the BBC and executive chef at Granada TV. Brian opened the Cookery school in the old Harthill Village School. Built in the 1800′s, it has magnificent panoramic views across Cheshire and North Wales.
The grade II listed building has been carefully renovated to retain its character and keep its place at the heart of the community.Read More
